Design charges vary according to the size of the garden, most gardens can be designed A3 using a smaller scale, please email me approximate dimensions and I will be able to confirm this.
My ‘Garden Design’ service allows for 2 visits following the initial consultation.
If you have decided to proceed you will have a few days to peruse my portfolio and samples, at your own leisure.
The final design is agreed by you, following acceptance / alterations to my draft idea.

THE PROCESS
The initial consultation is charged at £80, at this appointment I will discuss ideas & any site complexities.
If you decide to proceed with my service you will be left with my samples and portfolio for a few days, this helps me understand your preferences.
After a few days I return to carry out a survey and write your brief. A draft idea is emailed to you 2 - 3 days after surveying your garden, this is based on your ‘likes’. The draft can then be amended until I have the shapes and ideas that work for you and the garden you are wanting to create.
I finalise the design in ink and it is hand coloured with chalk pastels. The design includes a ‘Schedule of Works’ for the landscaper & a numbered planting plan. You will receive additional copies of the design, plus an electronic version. This is to scale.
I work with several landscaping companies who will visit your garden & provide a quotation. You are welcome to obtain your own quotations.
I will supply a fully itemised spreadsheet for the proposed planting.
The survey is charged at £65 an hour. Gardens up to 300 square metres generally take 1 – 3 hours.
Project management / site inspections are charged at £80 per visit one to two visits per project. One visit per week would suffice, but more on request, this service is optional.
If a design becomes dormant and not completed within 3 months of your draft, a surcharge of £100 will apply, to allow for time to refresh my mind on the project. Additional site visits to revise a design are charged at £80.
