I pride myself on understanding each client & what suits their household, not just a work of art, but fit for purpose. You will have time to consider my draft idea and tweak it to suit your needs, therefore every client knows exactly what design they will receive when I present the final plan.

My fixed fee includes 2 further visits following the initial consultation. 

I design by hand, which is how I was trained, on a drawing board using a scale rule.

My clients love this personal touch, some clients have displayed my design on the wall. I use chalk pastels to finish the plan & shade the colours of the planting; this helps my client visualise their garden. I started training in 1999 & have developed a thorough knowledge of worthy planting. I do not have a particular style, as I like to work with my client about what ‘they’ like.

 I do however like balance & repeat, therefore, even in a natural flowing garden I will balance planting &repeat, it creates more drama, planting for year round, with minimal deciduous plants, contrast foliage colours &textures; the flowers are the bonus. I want the garden to look good all year!

Of course I mustn’t forget the hard landscaping, I have many samples for you to peruse.
